Borman & Company today announced the appointment of Kevin Barquinero to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In this new role for the firm, Kevin will work closely with the President and CEO Nikki Borman to provide operational management, lead innovation initiatives and nurture existing client relationships.

Most recently, Kevin was the Founder and President of Knowledge Sharing Systems, an infrastructure software company that manages the technology development process along the path to commercialization. Based in the Washington D.C. area, Kevin built his career at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) where he implemented agency-wide management of its technology commercialization program and was the lead commercial policy analyst for the international space station program. While at NASA he was also part of the Presidential Management Fellows Program. He has more than 30 years experience in innovation management in the federal government, universities, industry, research hospitals, non-profit research institutions, and federal laboratories
